boring for you
gas was $1.66 a gallon today. supply and demand, so they say.
i went to arkansas last weekend. it felt good to be there. it would have felt better if dear shar could sleep with the light OFF - but that did not happen. no problem, the awake hours made up for the wannabe sleep hours.
now that i am older and get concerned about things that may and most likely will go broke, i try to push myself on some things. balance is one of those things. i try very hard each morning to put my footwear on by standing on one foot whilst putting on the other -- and then to push myself a little further and while still balanced on one foot, i reach for the other half of the pair. some mornings i end up with fewer bruises than others.
i get to head to the hometown in about a week. i'm really looking forward to it. some of the cousins and nieces want to learn how to make the toothbrush rag rugs and i'm ready to teach them.
we had a leak in the kitchen sink this week. where the hell is joe the plumber when ya need him? still out campaigning? i told the malemate it needed to be dealt with before january because there probably won't be many small business plumbers after the new regime takes over. ah, that's just silly. as long as the dollar has value, there won't be a problem.
dollar having value? hmmm what's the chances of that?
