dearest blog,
i know i'm drunk, but please know that i have missed you dear blog. i think about you every day, but then i get consumed with other things. but today, i'm going spend some time with you ...
time that you may not be interested in.
i started a couple hours ago working on a $20 dresser that i want to make into an entertainment center. i have so many painting techniques that i want to do (specifically a rust finish), but the wall it will set against is too busy and won't allow for any fun stuff. so, i will just do a crackle on it ...
maybe.
the past week my anxiety has been my best friend, unfortunately.
i'm so concerned about the election. i had such a hard time focusing on work. thankfully, one of the gals i type for is also consumed and worried about it.
i just cannot believe that people in the greatest country in the world cannot understand that trickle down works both with wealth and poverty. if taxing "big business" is the answer, then guaranteed, the big businesses will send more of their jobs to foreign countries. then, how will all those programs get paid for? if there is no money, there will be no handouts.
when did we stop being a country of self-reliance?
guess i'll go pee now and then have one more toddy with a xanax chaser.
